Introduction

Our founder President Late: Sri. MahadevappaRampure was highly inspired by great patriot Madan Mohan Malulya. He started H.K.E Society in the year 1958 His vision was to impart higher education and to provide excellent education to the children of Hyderabad Kamataka Area. As the years passed by its ambit of activities expanded and more institution and courses were added to keep in pace with the changing times. We have a policy to orient our college and need of the society in general. The institution seeks to fulfil the varied education needs of its students through programmers consistent with intuitional mission and proposes. We are in the age of computer science advancement and recent research in computer applications have proved its suitable in pursuing higher education and to develops ones computer knowledge.

The department of computer science for the under graduate level in this institution was established in the year of 2006-07 with a meagre strength of students and a single staff member When increased in strength of students we built a separate lab with all facilities. We have one fulltime (Unaided), One part-time lecturer and one part time and one lab instructor.

Sri.Amaresh G T put in 3 years’ service of teaching in ourcity’s Vishwanath Reddy Mudnal Commerce  Degree College Gulbarga, HOD of Department of Computer Science One year lecturer in Basavu Degree College Gulbarga. Our department providing internet facility to the students and also providing extra facility to the students by using computer based education compact such as software like MS Office program, Tally DBMS etc. Today computer knowledge has replaced the Holy Scriptures in the hands of young students. The rural students weak in computer knowledge so it the best opportunities to these students for get more knowledge.

OBJECTIVE OF THE DEPARTMENT

• As Information Technology has become an integral part of education and life style the department focuses on preparing young minds for the globally challenging opportunities in the IT field of digital era.
• Graduates of the Bachelor of a Arts and Bachelor of Commerce with Computer Applications programs will be actively contributing individually and in teams.
• Demonstrate expertise in problem-solving techniques using the computer.
• Demonstrate ability in at least three high-level programming languages.
• Demonstrate ability in developing and analysis of complex data structures problems.
• Ethically applying expertise to face the challenges and solve problems, effectively communicating, and building on their knowledge to grow in their careers
